Our urinary tract infection treatment page has some of the basic points possibly applicable to a person with a UTI. That said, acupressure is not generally effective with UTI’s - however, the Chinese herbal formula, san jin wan (when appropriate) is clinically proven to be very effective and considerably more so than standard western antibiotic options. As with anything, you don’t treat a UTI, however, you treat the diagnostic patterns that are leading to it, some of the more common ones are listed on our uti treatment page (for more on that see “treating the cause and not the symptoms”).
