Starting literature

I would like to study TCM (self study for my information only) and was wondering what is the best literature to start introduction to TCM in general. Thanks!

I would start by reading the links and the majority of the books listed at the bottom within our TCM theory section.

Probably the two crucial books to start with would be:

The Web That Has No Weaver

The Practice of Chinese Medicine

There are two books on general theory that I would recommend: "Between Heaven and Earth" and "The Web That Has No Weaver." If you are interested in Chinese Medicine dietary theory at all I would highly recommend Pitchford&#39s "Healing with Whole Foods" a very accessible and fascinating read!

Thank you Nancy and Chad for your comments.
