Premature greying

Premature greying of the hair can come about for any variety of reasons, so what you will do will depend to at least some extent on the overall condition and related health issues of the patient. There is, of course, a strong hereditary component to greying which is arguable whether or not acupuncture can override.

From a TCM perspective premature greying is almost always due to some kind of Kidney Deficiency (Qi, Yang, or Jing) and results from poor health (either long-term illness, poor diet, overwork, excessive sexual activity, etc.).
