Why would you think it would cause a problem? If there is a valid clinical reason for using the point, then there will be a useful response, if you are just needling because you think it is a good idea but not based on good clinical reasoning then likely nothing or very little will happen.
Some practitioners, for example, may use moxabustion on ST 36 daily or fairly frequently. Some might even needle the point frequently. In my mind, however, you shouldn’t need to. If your treatments are effective and your diet and lifestyle are in check, except when combating chronic underlying conditions, you should need nothing. More than likely once weekly or even once monthly is all the average person who has good lifestyle habits would need.
