Heart excess and deficiency and chi stagnation

I just wanted to ask a couple of things. You can have heart chi excess and deficiency from chi stagnation cant you ? And a interior cold. Would that come from another organ? Or possibly many things. Am I right in seeing the 8 Dx system and the 6 channel system for heat and the other for cold syndromes?
