TCM and acupuncture doesn’t work that way. See treating the cause for more on that.
Risk factors for deep vein thrombosis include genetics, surgery, smoking, sedentary lifestyle, cancer and age among others.
From the TCM perspective the more common patterns would be blood stagnation and a general qi deficiency.
