Acute stroke

HELLO,

I'M SENTHIL - FROM INDIA (CHENNAI) PAST 2 MONTHS I TREATING A PATIENT WHO WAS
AFFECTED BY ACUTE STROKE - (RIGHT HEMIPARESIS DUE TO LEFT MIDDLE CEREBERAL
ARTERY INFARCT / DIABETES MELLITUS / HYPERTENSION)RIGHT SIDE OF WHOLE BODY
STOPPED MOVEMENTS AND HE WAS NOT ABLE TO MOVE AND NOT ABLE TO SPEAK.I TRIED
TO SOLVE THE SPEECH PROBLEM FIRST, SO I WAS USING THE POINTS AND NEEDLING
(ST6, ST4, REN23) WITH IN 4 DAYS THE PATIENT RECOVERED FROM FACE PALSY AND
NOW HE CAN SPEAK WELL THEN I TRIED TO RESOLVE THE HAND AND LEG MOVEMENTS
USING THE POINTS
(DU20,LIV2,LIV3,P6,TW4,TW5,TW6,LI4,LU5,LI11,LI10,LI9,ST36,SP6,SP9,K3,GB34, )
NOW THE PATIENT CAN WALK WITH SUPPORT AND HE CAN MOVE THE HAND ALSO BUT TILL
HE IS NOT ABLE TO MOVE THE HAND FINGERS I PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE THESE
PROBLEMS FOR HAND FINGER MOVEMENTS AND WALK WITHOUT SUPPORT

I would start by reading our acupuncture for stroke treatment page which near the bottom has points for specific areas. As Kate Kang points out the point sets baxie and bafeng can be quite useful. Also while not directly applicable the general process we use for conditions like MS, see tam healing for MS, can be useful particularly the window of the sky points.
